240/365: August 30, 2010.

The beginning of the 2nd week of school. I was somewhat excited for this week, thinking it was going to be a better one. Classes went by fast, thank goodness. Got a lot of homework but got it all done. Reviewed All Right Now that day in guard. That was chill. Didn’t do anything that day after school.

241/365: August 31, 2010.

Happy birthday Mr. Wong! :D

Classes went by slow that day, once again but having guard at the end of the day is very entertaining. It makes the day better. Besides all the heat and sweating, guard that day was hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing. I kinda enjoy having it just as Jazz, Jennica, Jimmy and I. WE’RE ALL “J’s” I JUST NOTICED. HAHA. But anyways! Since everyone else has it 1st, we have it 7th. That “rehearsal” was very chill. I tested out my thumb that day and it somewhat hurt but I coped with it. It was nice holding a flag again, even though I was a bit rusty. :/ Then practice that night was chill. Learned some new stuff. I liked that day.

242/365: September 1, 2010.

It’s already September! Time goes by super fast. Classes were chill that day. Went home right after school and attempted to do all my homework so I didn’t have to worry about it the next day, but that failed. Crashed late. That day was super unproductive.

243/365: September 2, 2010.

So happy it was Thursday since the homework I get assigned that day wouldn’t be due until next Tuesday since we have a 3-day weekend since it’s Labor Day weekend. :D Classes went by fast that day, thank goodness. The thumb was still in the process of slowly healing. Haha. Practice that night was wonderful. I really liked that day of practice. Learning more things with the sickle was intense. LOL! I hate those things, but they make flags weigh super light. Then the run throughs that night were AMAZING. :D I knew all my spots and I felt pretty confident about how I performed.. well, I had my moments. LOL. That night of practice was fun though. Tiring, but fun day.

245/365: September 3, 2010.

Backademic Rally or whatever they called it. Haha.

That’s when I dropped of the flag but this was my first ever performance in guard. I enjoyed it. :) Had so much fun that rally, and Sophomore’s poster looked good. We got the most spirit points too. YEEEE. :D That rally was actually entertaining. Haha. It’s not the same without the 2010 seniors though. :( I missed them at that point. But anyways, classes were going by super slow that day… but the day was finally over. Discussed with the buddies where we were gonna go. Decided to go eat some pho, but then that failed… so we ended up all meeting up at Tutti Frutti. Haha. The yogurt there wasn’t half bad but I’ve definitely eaten better. Then after, played some Hide-N-Seek in the nearby parking lot by the bart. LOL. That was funny but I had to pee really bad. :( So then after, since we were done killing time, walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus to finally come.

Decided to go with Jennica to her Tito’s birthday party. Maple, Javidson and Jared’s papa. :D Got off the bus, said our goodbye’s to Dino and the Campos twins. About to walk to Maple’s place, we ended up seeing Jennica’s dad at the gas station. So we snuck into the back seats and see how they’d react. Jerrence: O_O Woah. LOL. I laughed hard. Then Uncle was just laughing at us, wondering how we got there. They ended up giving us a ride. Jennica drove for like 30 seconds, all excited and shit. She ain’t that bad.. I guess. Haha! Met up with Maple and all the cousins came through. Said hi to everyone and all that, then walked to the pool. Just watched the cousins swim since Jennica and I didn’t bring anything. I told her to go but she didn’t want to. Haha. Then the auntie’s came. We all just ended up chillin’ for like 2 hours. Finally went back to the house, ate some dinner and chilled. It was nice hanging out with Jennica. It’s been awhile since we’ve had our days. Haha. Finally got picked up around 8 or so, I think? Went home, attempted to do some homework but that failed. I was too tired, so crashed around 11. It was a nice Friday to end the week. :) 

229/365: August 19, 2010.

First legit day of practice. It didn’t turn out so well but Jennifer Nguyen made it better. “Five… SIX!… Five, SIX!, seven, eight.” LMAO. That practice was alright. I forgot what we did, but that’s pretty much all I did that day.

230/365: August 20, 2010.

Payless & Kohls with the favorite Uncle! Pretty fun. It was nice hanging out with the the favorite Uncle. Got two new pairs of shoes, pretty cheap with all the discounts we got. :D LOL. Then went to Kohls after since we had time and I wanted to use my gift card already. Haha. Bought some stuff and all that. Then got dropped off to Lakewood. Met up with P.j. Then walked to Sunny V Cafe to eat. Talked and updated each other. He paid for me even though I told him not to. Haha. Then after, went to Quickly’s since he wanted to buy something. Then walked to Lakewood for awhile. Chilled there for a bit and then he ended up walking me home. It was nice. But as I write this… this was 2 weeks ago. It was a nice time, but things are done with. ANYWAYS! Moving on from this day.

Marching Band practice. Tiring, long day. Sprained my thumb that day… -____-

232/365: August 22, 2010.

Ended up waking up with my thumb in pain, realizing that it’s probably sprained this time. My “FML” moment. Tried my best to cope with it and got a temporary wrap for it since I couldn’t go to the doctor’s that day. Did laundry and got everything ready for school. I actually wasn’t excited for school the next day and I actually fell asleep that night. I was pretty beat. Chill day, I suppose. It’s depressing to know that summer’s over. It honestly went by WAY too fast.

233/365: August 23, 2010.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Woke up and got ready. Got to school and pretty much reunited with everyone again. It was nice seeing everyone’s faces since it’s been about 2 months since I’ve seen everyone all together. Haha. Met some new people and all that. Got my permanent schedule. I’m satisfied with my classes, I guess. I barely have anyone in them. Oh well. Sooo to kill time the gang and I just chilled. Finally went to class. It was so excited, I guess you could say. Haha. It was finally after school, but I couldn’t chill with everyone since I had to go to the doctor’s to get my thumb checked up. :( That took forever but we finally found out it’s just a minor sprain. Nothing too big. Finally went home and finished everything up, then went to sleep. Wasn’t that great of a day for the first day of Sophomore year.

234/365: August 24, 2010.

School. The classes seemed like they took forever. That day was the hottest day by far this year. It was insanely hot. -_- It’s pretty ridiculous considering summer’s almost over and now the weather chooses to be super hot. Haha. I’m just glad that day’s over with. Went home right after school, did the homework, then got ready for practice. Practice was horrible since I had to air everything. Stupid thumb. :( 2nd day of school wasn’t that great as the 1st.

3rd day of school. It was a pretty content day. No practice after school, but went home right after anyways to do everything. Boring day since I don’t recall of anything.

4th day of school. Another “alright” day. Had practice after school and that was boring, once again since I had to air it all. Homework was actually piling up already. Pretty lame.

237/365: August 27, 2010.

5th day of school. It was finally Friday, THANK GOODNESS. I was so happy the first week of school was over and it was finally the weekend. Haha. I honestly didn’t enjoy the first of week of school. I thought I was going to but I guess not. There was something about it that didn’t make it that great. But it’s whatever. There was always next to week to make things better!

Marching Band practice all day. Since the band overpowered the Guard’s vote, we ended up having practice 9am-5pm. I’m kinda glad that’s how practice ended up being so then I had time to do homework and what not after since I’m not usually awake that early before 1 or so for 1-9pm practices. Haha. 8 hours of practice without being able to touch a flag or a shield… sucked. But I was glad my thumb was finally healing. Tiring day.

239/365: August 29, 2010.

I don’t even remember what I did that day, but it was super boring. Probably just finished up homework, cleaned up a bit and that’s about it. I had a really non-exciting weekend.

Guard practice in the morning ‘til lunch time. Then had an hour break, like always. Saw a lot of the incoming freshmen considering it was orientation/registration day for them. LOL. It was awkward but at the same time interesting to see them. Saw him too. That was interesting since we haven’t seen each other for almost a month. Anyways, had practice again at 1pm to 9pm, like always. Crashed early, thank goodness. I’m glad that this has been getting be tired so I can sleep early often. Haha. Good, exhausting day.

LAST DAY OF BAND CAMP! Wahoo.

Excited, but somewhat sad at the same time. So 9am-9pm practice. -_- Gah, so tiring. I hated waking up early, but I guess it was something for me to get used to for school, since it’s actually coming up so soon. D: Can’t believe it. So then, ended practice early around 5 or so since we had potluck with family and friends. It was a pretty legit potluck too, considering we have like 100 people in our Marching Band. :D GOOD FOOD, and I’ve got to say I was pretty full and I was bloated during practice after. So then, rehearsed everything we were gonna do for the “first show” to everyone who was there. Finally got ready at 8ish and performed for everyone. It was really fun, and I enjoyed it. I had fun and I laughed a lot. Then went home around 9. Wish family could’ve been there, but oh well. Crashed and was happy to say I was able to sleep in the next day. Band Camp was a really fun and amazing experience. I seriously can’t wait for this Marching Band season. :)

The rest of the first week of Band Camp.

I honestly have to say, I have no idea what we did but I know for a fact that I was exhausted from it. But I had a lot of fun that week. Met new people, finally saw the pals, caught up and hung out with them. Learned a lot that week. It was tiring and there were those moments where I wanted to give up, but I don’t regret any of it. I enjoyed it so much and I can’t wait for the season to start.

225/365: August 15, 2010.

My day off from Band Camp. I didn’t go to church… -_- I feel so bad with the fact I haven’t gone in so long. It was a nice, relaxing day though away from practice and what not. It went by so fast though so that kind of sucked.

FIRST DAY OF BAND CAMP! :) Woke up around 10 or so. Showered, got ready, made my lunch, checked that I had everything and all that. Waited for Erika to come pick me up. Erika stopped by and then left to go to school. Met up with everyone and just chilled for awhile. Finally went inside and waited for Mr. Kelly to tell us to sit. Finally got his 2 hour lecture and what not done with, then finally got into our sections to practice. Danced for a bit in the Dance Room, but had to go soon since Featherettes had practice. Went outside to practice. Did some flag basics and then separated into our sections. Stayed on flag, of course and did some more basics and warm-ups. Finally had lunch. Went to Da-Kine with Christy, Jennica, Rajanil and Erika E. Chilled there for awhile. Finally went back and met up with everyone. Walked to the new field. It was nice. I just hate how it’s turf. -_- Everyone was finally there. Dress center dress-ed, stretched out, reviewed commands and then started learning how to march. Well, for some of us, review how to march. Pretty fun. I like it. :D Did warm-ups and what not. I don’t even remember. Haha. Practice was finally over. Got a ride from Erika again. Then got home. Finally ate some dinner. It felt like forever since I’ve eaten. Haha. Brushed my teeth and all that. Then fell asleep around 11, amazingly. :D Had a wonderful day at Band Camp.

Picked up Erika and then went to Target. Rushed and got the stuff we needed for the next day. Since we couldn’t find a big thermos, we went to the Dollar Store. We got a matching one, and they’re huge and also matching sunglasses. LOL. :D Then went to DD’s to just look at stuff but didn’t find anything good. Since my uncle was still getting stuff we went to CVS. Looked around to kill time and ended up getting food. Finally went back home and chilled at my place. Talked and ate our ice cream. Looked at my old notebooks. HAHAHAHAHAH. Good memories. Talked some more, watched TV, went online and cooked our noodles. Ate. All that good stuff. Then Erika finally got picked up around 8 or 9? Then got everything ready for Band Camp. Then tried falling asleep but that didn’t work out until like 4 or so. -_- So lame. That day was a chill day.
